ECIDC Co-Hosts 4th Annual Regional Broadband Summit

70 community leaders, government representatives, broadband providers and broadband stakeholders gathered on December 5, 2013 in Mattoon to network and learn of current broadband services, planned expansion projects in the region, and broadband education/adoption efforts in the region.

ECIDC Announces Regional Award Recipients

Jay Markwell of Casey and Richard (Dick) West of Mattoon have been selected as the 2014 Business Ethics and Social Involvement Award Recipients. Norma Lansing of Effingham has been chosen to receive the Outstanding Leadership in Community and Economic Development Award and Bob Colvin was selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award. <more
